Many organic compounds employed by the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, such as alcohols, amino acids, nucleotides, polypeptides, polysaccharides or vitamins can be synthesized by microorganisms. BIOPOLIS, S.L. designs, develops and optimizes processes for metabolite overproduction in cultures of bacteria, yeast and filamentous fungi.
